I wanted to level up my salmon bowls and I came up with this recipe after rummaging through cabinets and finding a can of coconut milk. After a couple of tweaks, I was able to transform my plain, bland rice into something very special. I am not a huge fan of ginger, so I use it sparingly. If you love ginger, add as much as you wish- your kitchen, your rules!

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a pot, bring to boil, turn it down to a simmer, cover and cook for 20 minutes.

Note

Use as much or as little ginger as you like. If you love Chinese five spice, throw some in for an extra level of flavor.
